The sun was shining in Dundee on Sunday morning as Dundee United opened its doors to the public for their Meet the Players Day, followed by McEwan Fraser Legal’s #BiggestHomeGame – a very special match which saw Dundee United play against 100 very lucky kids.

Tangerines manager Ray McKinnon chose a strong squad which included Scott McDonald and Willo Flood as the kids took to Tannadice, however, luck was not on Dundee United’s senior side, as they got beaten 7-2 by the 100 youngsters. Ray McKinnon was notably disappointed in his team saying, “Defensively we gave the ball away too cheaply. We just couldn’t handle their power and strength up top.”

The day had been a great success, it is all about letting the fans come and meet the players and get up close and personal with them – which they sure did! Watch how the day unfolded in our highlights video.
