We were very touched by their story
Last night (Wednesday 15th November), two boys in Uddingston received a very special visit as part of our McEwan Fraser Legal’s #HomeRun promotion ahead of Motherwell’s appearance in the Betfred Cup Final, next Sunday, against Celtic. Aston (8) and Marcus (10) received four tickets to go to the showpiece final at Hampden Park on Sunday 26 November, after their great uncle Derek nominated them as part of our #HomeRun.
We were very touched by their story. Sadly, the boys lost their dad Brian in August, and understandably it’s been a really difficult time for the whole family. To help just a little, McEwan Fraser Legal teamed up with Motherwell stars Richard Tait and Andy Rose to make a surprise visit to the family home.
The whole family gathered together to enjoy a special moment as the boys opened the front door and were stunned to discover a couple of first-team stars standing in front of them. Richard and Andy spent time with the family in what was an emotional experience for everyone involved. Watch our special behind the scenes film:
