What a night in Dundee as new United boss Ray McKinnon visited the homes of five supporters to present them with the new home kit, courtesy of McEwan Fraser Legal.
Dundee United boss Ray McKinnon tonight headed out across the City of Discovery to pay a personal visit to five lucky supporters – winners of McEwan Fraser Legal’s #HomeRun competition.
Each received the brand new home shirt, ahead of its official launch tomorrow (15 June) as well having the chance to pose for pictures and get some all-important autographs.
The United manager met fans of all ages, the youngest being Sol (3) who shouted, “Come on United,” as Ray arrived in with a little replica shirt.
Eleanor Clark, who had ordered the new home shirt for her son Paul in Australia was able to surprise him at 2.30am in the morning, via Facetime.
Elsewhere, Liam Harris (12) couldn’t quite understand why all the family had come around at teatime, only to get the shock of his life when he opened the door!
Cally Benvie reckoned Ray would have a sweet tooth, so she ordered special Dundee United cupcakes for the occasion.
And John Young, our final winner of the night, talked tactics (and signings), even if he didn’t quite prize an exclusive from Ray.
