We deal with residential and commercial property sales as well as having a robust legal department specialising in conveyancing, private client, family law and litigation.

Due to the continued demands of our business, we require an experienced, professional Property Department Manager to join the Property team in our Edinburgh Head Office. You will be joining an existing team to lead a group of talented people in our Property Department who all share the same passion for client care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Previous experience of managing a team within the residential property industry
  • Strong people management skills – can motivate, train and counsel team members
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience in managing clients
  • A genuine passion for property and people and an ability to build rapport
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-moving, target-driven team environment
  • Effective leadership skills and the ability to encourage success
  • Proactive, positive attitude
  • Natural problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft packages

Main responsibilities include:

  • Liaison with the team to monitor progress and performance by providing advice, support, coaching and guidance
  • Effectively manage staff on a daily basis to maintain their focus, encourage and develop them through training and motivation
  • Ensure business targets are met as well as ensuring outstanding levels of customer service are provided at all times
  • Regular communication with clients and responsibility for initially addressing customer service issues should they arise
  • Acting as the main point of contact for your allocated portfolio of clients in addition to people management responsibilities
  • Regular liaison with Management and Directors
  • Helping create a positive and proactive working environment

Core working hours will be Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5.30 pm, however, some flexibility may be required to best support your team and the business.
