With Father’s Day on Sunday 19th June, children all over the country will be rushing to find that perfect gift or busy planning the perfect day. So how could you be treating your dad?
For fun, we have pulled together a few suggestions:
Food glorious food: Why not treat your dad to a lovely meal at your local pub/restaurant? Or if you fancy yourself as the next Jamie Oliver you could even put your culinary skills to the test and cook up a special meal at home.
Get moving – There are so many fun activities to do these days from a round of golf to paintballing or go-karting, it’s a great chance to get the family together. Cheaper alternatives include a kick around with a ball in the park or watching the UEFA Euro 2016 at home.
Enjoy the garden – Why not help out in the garden, offer to cut the grass, roll your sleeves up and assist with the weeding or even just get a BBQ started… but these ones are obviously weather permitting!
DIY Dads – We know dads love a DIY project, and it's great to spend some time together, so why not help your father get stuck into a job around the house that mum has been moaning about for ages! This could be a real win-win for all!
And relax – You could always see if your local spa has any Father’s Days offers and treat your dad to a relaxing treatment of spa day on you. Whatever you decide to do on Sunday, we hope all the Father’s out there enjoy some much-deserved appreciation!
